New Mexico Poet Laureate Lauren Camp In-Person
From Ravens to Arabic Lands:
A reading and conversation with New Mexico Poet Laureate Lauren Camp
Join us at Mesa Public Library on Saturday, April 20 at 2:00pm for a conversation and reading award-wining poet, Lauren Camp. Lauren will read and talk about finding one’s place, heritage, and perspective through writing.
Camp is New Mexico's Poet Laureate, a Fellow of the Academy of American Poets Laureate, has been awarded the American Fiction Award in Poetry, the Anna Davidson Rosenberg Poetry Award, was a finalist of the Arab American Book Award, and was selected to be Astronomer in Residence at Grand Canyon National Park in 2022.
This program is part of Los Alamos Public Library's celebrations of Arab American Heritage Month, and coincides with National Poetry Month. Come to the library to learn more.
