The Zone at MPL In-Person
After school, The Zone at the main library is open and you can bring your snack and drinks in to enjoy. The Zone is usually a library programming space. But on school days from 3:30-5 (12-5 Wednesdays), the doors are open for anyone of any age. Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, art supplies, and board games are always available when The Zone is open. We play music, sometimes watch a movie, and love to meet new people. Drinks with lids are welcome all over the library but The Zone (when open) and the lobby (all library open hours) are the only two places for food.
On Wednesdays we have a special program for elementary-aged kids called What's Up Wednesday.
Children 5 and younger may be in The Zone during this time but should be closely supervised by their 12+ caregiver. This is the rule for the entire library, not just The Zone.
