Author Talk: Lesley Poling-Kempes In-Person
Award-winning author, Lesley Poling-Kempes, will join us at Mesa Public Library to discuss her research and the ways it has changed throughout her career. Since writing "The Harvey Girls" in the 1980s, though her novels and non-fiction, including "Ladies of the Canyon," she has seen different access and changing interests around the history of women in the Southwest. Come listen to her discuss to the topics of research, writing, and history. Bring your questions about these ideas and about the many topics she has deeply researched across her publishing career.
