Cozy Family Crafternoon
Come inside the library where it's warm and you're always welcome! We've got some cozy communal crafts to share! The library will provide materials for both project and process art fun. Project art has specific directions and a fairly predictable outcome. Process art is just messing about with art supplies for the joy of it.
And there's more! All ages are invited to bring any craft you’re working on- knitting, writing holiday cards, drawing, or anything portable- and hang out at either library. From 1-4 pm in The Zone at Mesa Public Library Saturday and Sunday or in the multipurpose room at White Rock Branch Library on Saturday, library staff will provide hot drinks, cookies, a crackling (onscreen!) log fire, lo-fi beats, and good company.
If you’d like to bring a craft to teach others, please do! Library crafts are great for ages 4-10 but everyone is welcome. Kids 5 and under will need their grownup handy.
