The History of Santa Fe Indian School, with principal Bernie Gurule In-Person
Join us at Mesa Public Library for a evening with Bernie Gurule, principal of Santa Fe Indian School. He will be sharing with us the history of the school, from it's beginnings as part of the federal boarding school initiative of the 1890s to the cultural and educational touchstone it is today for the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico.
This event is proudly brought to the library in partnership with the J. Robert Oppenheimer Memorial Committee.
