Wise Fool New Mexico: Summer Reading Kick-Off In-Person
Enjoy dynamic and high-energy performances and workshops that showcase the breadth and depth of circus art skills. Be dazzled by amazing aerialists, virtuosic jugglers, or graceful contortionists. Wise Fool is a circus art troupe from Santa Fe on a mission to build community and spark imagination. The Library is excited to welcome the troupe back to Los Alamos for the first time in ten years! Bring your picnic, your family, and camping chairs. Kick off the Summer Reading Program and Level Up at our library.
Note: this is a multi-part event with afternoon workshops and an evening performance. Patrons of all ages can join for one, several, or all modules! Please, check the individual calendar entries for more information about individual sessions including locations.
Wise Fool is bringing so much to Los Alamos!
- 2:00–5:00 PM—Workshops (Puppets, Stilts, Circus Try-It-Out Zone)—some sessions are outdoors, and some are inside the library in the Zone on the Youth Services floor. Please check the individual calendar listings for details.
- 3:30–5:30 PM – Ambient performers will be in Ashley Pond and library public spaces to entice and intrigue folks to come to. . .
- 6 PM – Wise Fool performance on the Ashley Pond stage!
