Creative Studio: Let's Make Things In-Person
Creative Studio is for artists and engineers of all ages and is ideal for ages 6-11. The Zone is open for imaginative play for three hours on most summer Tuesdays. We'll play with Legos, use fun art supplies, meet visiting artists, and learn to make parts of costumes each week.
The schedule varies somewhat, so we can offer evening hours each month. Below are the dates, times, and featured costume parts.
June 3 from 2-5 pm, crowns
June 10 from 2-5 pm, horns
There will be no open studio on June 17. Wonders on Wheels is at White Rock Branch Library from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Mesa Public Library from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
June 24 from 4-7 pm, mushroom hats
July 1 from 2-5 pm, vambraces (forearm guards)
July 8 from 2-5 pm, masks
July 15 from 2-5 pm, capes
July 22 from 4-7 pm, wings
