Women on the Santa Fe Trail, presented by Marla Matkin In-Person
The library is delighted to host Marla Matkin's program Women on the Santa Fe Trail. Matkin's theatrical storytelling focuses on the women of 200 years ago who forged a path in our history. With focus on a few special voices, she will explore the tales of these pioneers who were not silent bystanders but active participants in the trail experience.
Matkin is a former teacher, an author of children's books, and a respected historian and scholar. Descended from homesteaders, she brings life to historical programs to carry forward stories of women throughout history.
