Salute to Service In-Person
If you or a family member served in any of our armed forces--Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force, or National Guard--please consider sharing your family's military story and your photo(s) with us and with our community. We would love to feature them in a commemorative display and slideshow this November. The display will be featured at both library locations. Your memories and images serve as a powerful testament to the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of military members and their families.
To contribute, please share:
- Details: Branch and years of service, rate/rank, deployments, duties, and more
- Photos: Digital snapshots highlighting your and your family's service (the library can assist with scanning physical photos)
- Stories: Optional short narratives (150-200 words) capturing unique experiences, from significant missions to personal anecdotes
