Making Local History Through Social Impact: Los Alamos Women in Nonprofit Leadership

Making Local History Through Social Impact: Los Alamos Women in Nonprofit Leadership Online

*This event will be livestreamed via Zoom. Registration is required. See below for details.

March is Women's History Month and you're invited to join us for a panel discussion with some of the local women who are making a big impact on the Los Alamos community through nonprofit leadership. Learn about how nonprofit organizations are born from a desire to address unique societal needs, how social impact can unite and transform communities, and the challenges and rewards that stem from this type of work. Panelists include Melissa Arias of Lemonade Living, Prisca Tiasse of Los Alamos Makers, Rachel Kizielewicz of Los Alamos Community Foundation, and Maura Taylor of Self Help, Inc. Library resources for starting and operating your own nonprofit will be shared.
