Tabletop Game Day (this month with Euchre!) In-Person
All ages are welcome to bring their board games or choose from the more than 125+ board games the library owns. Members of the library staff and volunteers will be hanging out hoping to play games with people at Mesa Public Library mostly in The Zone on the lower level.

This program is for everyone and anyone who wants to play tabletop board games. The library owns card and board games for kids as young as four. We welcome experts who want to teach others how to play their favorite board or card games. The non-circulating collection has games that take five minutes and games that COULD take five hours!
This month we're bringing the Michigan card playing vibe to our Zone space with library associate Siena Beattie, along with their family and friends, demonstrating how to play the trump-taking game of Euchre. This is a refresher play-through folks can watch, not an actual teaching session. However, if enough interested folks are hanging about, we can randomize partners and do a round-robin style tournament (or bracket if we get a lot). We even have untouched library-branded decks of playing cards for participants to take home (while supplies last).
